Michelle Roueché, Clinician
Dr. Roueché is the newly appointed Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Equally accomplished at the piano and the conductor's podium, choirs under her direction have been invited performers for numerous Georgia Music Educators conventions, for Spivey Hall's prestigious concert series in Atlanta, and for two Southern Division conventions of the American Choral Directors Association.
She studied under the tutelage of world-renowned accompanist to Pavarotti, John Wustman, and earned music degrees from Texas Tech University, the University of Illinois, and Arizona State University.
An active clinician and choral arranger, Dr. Roueché is represented by Walton Music and Treble Clef Music Press. Her compositions have been featured at various ACDA and All-State conventions, Georgia Music Educators conventions, and the Southeastern ACDA Women's Choral festival.
She has performed in Carnegie Hall under the baton of Robert Shaw, and also appeared as an Artist-in-Residence at North Carolina State University. Prior to her appointment at UMHB, Dr. Roueché served on the faculties of Brenau University (Georgia), Waldorf College (Iowa), and Arizona State University. She is married to baritone David M. Thomas.
Margaret MacKay, accompanist
Margaret Hicks MacKay is a native of Iva, SC, where she became organist of her home church, Good Hope Presbyterian, at the age of 13 and served there until her junior year of college.
She holds degrees in organ performance from Anderson College (now University); Furman University, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She did further study at Converse College.
She has served churches in Iva, SC; Greenville, SC; Belton, SC; and Louisville, KY as well as the following churches in Anderson, SC:

Margaret is married to Raymond MacKay. They have 5 grown children, love to travel and entertain.
She has served as accompanist for the adult Festival by the Sea for 4 years. “It’s one of my FAVORITE things to do.”
